About the tour

The Salkantay Trek 5 Days and 4 nights, is one of the best adventure alternatives that will allow you to visit Machu Picchu and unlike the Classic Inca Trail, there are no limitations of permits to travel with it. The National Geographic Adventure magazine ranked the Salkantay Trek 5 Days trek and 4 nights as one of the 25 best trips in the world.

The Inca Trail through the Salkantay is one of the best adventure alternatives that will allow you to travel a distance of 73 kilometers (45.3 miles). The Salkantay Trek tour 5 days 4 nights, will take you through amazing landscapes where the lowland jungle gives way to the alpine environments of the highlands and the glacier mountains including the peak of Salkantay snow.

Cuye Travel Peru, recommends you to be in a good physical condition to carry out this route because is relatively longer. However, like the challenge of the classic Inca trail, the Salkantay Trek 5 days 4 nights is a fantastic experience full of beauty to reach Machu Picchu, and enjoy the excellent hot springs at the end of the route.
