We will pick you up from your hotel between 6:30 and 7:00 a.m. Once the group is complete, we will head north.
Our first stop will be Chinchero, a charming town where we will see agricultural terraces, the remains of Túpac Inca Yupanqui's royal estate, and a beautiful colonial temple built on Inca foundations. Here, we will also observe the process of transforming wool, from washing to the creation of magnificent textiles.
Next, we will head to Moray, famous for its agricultural terraces in natural depressions. Then, we will visit the Maras Salt Mines, where we can appreciate the ancient salt extraction process that dates back to Inca times.
After that, we will travel to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo, built to protect the valley from possible invasions from the jungle. After the visit, we will return by bus to the town of Urubamba for a buffet lunch.
After lunch, we will head to the Archaeological Complex of Pisac, built during the reign of Inka Pachacuteq. Its location atop a mountain offers impressive views of the valley towards Antisuyo.
Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco, with an estimated arrival around 6:30 p.m.
