Our bus service will pick you up at your hotel in the city of Cusco, approximately between 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Our first tour will take you to visit the Cathedral of Cusco, and know in detail the history of its construction, We will appreciate within the Cathedral of Cusco the enclosures paintings made by local craftsmen during the sixteenth century (with high symbolic and ethnographic content) and other works of art using the gold of the Incas. Inside you can also see various historical objects typical of the Cusquenos faith, an example to mention is the majestic Patron of Cusco, or Lord of the Earthquakes.
The Cathedral of Cuzco was built on top of an Inca temple called the Illa TecseWiracocha palace.
Following our Cusco city tour, we will visit the 'Qoricancha' or temple of the Sun, translated from Quechua, (Qori = Oro worked, Cancha = house, place of place), its meaning is "The enclosure or site of gold". The 'Qoricancha' was dedicated to the sun god, the denomination of "Place or site of gold", is that the walls of the same were covered with sheets of gold ". Next to The 'Qoricancha' is the building of the Convent of Santo Domingo, showing a beautiful renaissance architecture, we can find with its premises, paintings of the Cusqueña School (known for their exquisite works of painting made by the natives at the beginning of the 16th century), as well as sculptures and images of beautiful carving.
